This was scanned from a metal negative, any help restoring this would be greatly appreciated.
My mum is the little girl on the right, Nellie and her sister and brother.

any chance of a rescan at a higher resolution.
When you rescan make the dpi 300 and leave out the scanner bed.

Rough clean just to give you some idea of the potential this pic has for a really good restoration. Do a preview scan, crop to size before doing the full scan at 300ppi and then repost.

You are welcome. It's a nice photo and I enjoyed having a go.

If I had time I would try producing a full colour version for you. Perhaps another restorer will take up that challenge.

i am speechless,its beautiful.The girl on the right is my mother and the others are her brother and sister.There was also one other sister derenda who is not on the photo i think she was just a baby..She is now 96 and i am going to see her on wednesday,have not seen her for 30 years.I think she will be very pleased with the photo. By the way the older ones are thier grandparents as thier mother had just died leaving the 4 children.  :(

Just thought i would give you a bit of history behind the photo.
