Title: 1851 census Christchurch lookup please
Post by: squancette on Wednesday 30 March 05 09:45 BST (UK)
Hi there, I am looking for a Samuel Willson b 29/03/1849 at 10 Gravel Lane, Christchurch, Saint Saviour , Surrey on the 1851 census.

Father Samuel James Willson, Bricklayer

Mother Mary Ann Willson (nee Tarrant)

The information that I am after is the ages and birth places of the parents please.

If anyone can help, or know of a site online that I can view the 1851 census it would be much appreciated.

Thanks Alex

Alex

Someone should be able to find these in 1851 now?

If so .....providing Samuel (senior) is in Surrey 1841......we should be able to come up with him also.

The same applies to Mary Ann Tarrant where you have several choices

Alex... can I suggest that you look at: Samuel Walker  b1812 Whitechapel in the 1851 census.  The entry for Christchurch St Saviour Southwark is in fact Samuel Willson plus wife Mary Ann and son Samuel.
(Household 165 10 Gravel Lane).

It was your note on Samuel b1849 which says Gravel lane which put me on the track. Where did u get that from - his birth cert?

I am also intersted where u got Samuel's (b1813) second Christian Name from as I have never seem it anywhere.
