Hi conman and welcome to the Yorkshire boards
Can you give us a few names and dates for your Parkers?
Regards

Ref the Parkers:
My gr.grandfather Thomas Parker was born in 1849 at Heckmondwike, Dewsbury.  His father also Thomas, was born c 1811 in Heckmondwike,  and he married Catherine Mylrea on the Isle of Man, in 1844 at Braddan,   but came to live at Turnpike Road, Heckmondwike.  (1851 census)Catherine died c 1851 but the death certificate threw me as it gave husband's occupation as "cordwainer"  when in fact Thomas had always been a blanket weaver.  Young Thomas became a shoe-maker after his apprenticeship.  He lived and worked in Dewsbury.  He did not marry gr.grandmother Martha but they had a daughter Hilda Parker Sykes,  from whom I am descended.
Prior ancestors to these Parkers were Joeph Parker and Sarah Oxley I believe.
I would appreciate any additions from other Parker families of the area.
