Title: COMPLETED Death - DEMPSEY Montague James Nepean

Seeking death details for Montague James Nepean DEMPSEY b 1843, Castlereagh, NSW to (Montague) James and Sophia. He was in prison in Qld for 10 yrs, released Sept 1887. Cannot find him in Qld or NSW deaths. His wife died in South Australia, so perhaps he died there.

I see no death listed in SA.

I see he was up for release  from prison 13 Sep 1876. (tried Townsville) 5 years + 3 years concurrent, for horse stealing and feloniously wounding a mare.  Was he encaserated again?

I have Montague James Nepean Washington Dempsey in my tree.  His daughter Verbena Henrietta Sophia Margaret Dempsey married into my extended family. He died in the Liverpool Asylum in Sydney and is buried at Liverpool Cemetery in Sydney.  I have quite a bit on this family if I can be of help I am happy to do so.
