Hi,
Is there anybody who could look up a marriage in Shropshire in the 1860's?
William Richard Jones sometimes just known as Richard and
Fanny Tomkins.
I have found a possible couple who were married in Liverpool but as they were both born in Shropshire (Oswestry) and were resident in Oswestry on the 1871 census with three children all born on Oswestry between 1867 and 1870 I'm a bit uncertain that it's the right couple.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. :-\ :-\

What address do you have for them on the 1871 census? Are they actually in Oswestry itself, or in the area?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply about the Oswestry marriage.
I have the family living in Willow Street Oswestry in 1871
They are as follows
Richard Jones 35 Town Crier
Fanny Jones 24
Mary E Jones 4
Fanny L Jones 2
Sarah A J Jones 3 months
Sarah was my great grandmother and she married in Liverpool in 1891 and stayed here until she died in the 1950's
Many thanks for your help. :)

Hi Viv,
Sorry to reply to you here but I cant work out how to send you a personal message. Thanks so much for the info about John Edward Jones, I really appreciate it. It will be interesting to see if you can find trace of him as Victor de newson Jones!
Thanks again
Karen

Hi Kaz41
Sorry, but you cant send personal messages until have personally posted a handful of messages or so.
This is a security measure to stop unscupulous firms logging into Rootschat and sending everyone a spam message.
You have to earn the right to send personal messages (although you can still receive them)
