Title: George and Donald Stewart- Aliwal
Post by: Carlene63 on Friday 18 June 10 11:42 BST (UK)
Does anyone have any records or are connected to George and Donald Stewart both sons of Robert Stewart and Mary (Marion) nee Torrance born in Midlothian Scotland.
George born around 1835 and Donald 1838.
Their uncles will, in July 1871 they were living in Aliwal North, Cape of Good Hope south Africa.
Can anyone help me with any information

Thank you Derek for the help in finding this document, but I have followed your advice but I have not been able to order the actual document. I got lost when your directions stopped. I selected the box for Donald Stewart but couldn't go any further. Please help me a little more. cheers Carlene

Hi it is 7 years since you put the post up. I was able to find that record on the internet. Unfortunately this Donalds father was Robert and his mother was Elizabeth.

Thank you very much for your help with this. I put several posts up and then had some family personal issues and was unable to do any FT research. I had not checked Rootschat and then just last week I received notification that there was a personal message from someone, and it was only then did I see your replies along with several other ones.
Thank you again.
