I hope this is the correct place.
I am looking for the parents of Daniel or Andrew Griffith born Dec.11,1799. In a book I found it said he was a native of Maryland before moving to Mason County,Kentucky. In the book it said he was of Scottish descent.
I did find census records & his marriage to his wife. He married Mary Clifton Oct.26,1823 Mason County,Kentucky. He was the 1st blacksmith of Shannon,Kentucky. The reason I put Daniel or Andrew Griffith is on the marriage bond it is in the name Daniel Griffith but he signed it Andrew Griffith.I would appreciate if you know of this Griffith family.Thanks,Rose
