Title: Timelines
Post by: mezentia on Monday 07 June 10 14:05 BST (UK)
Does anyone have any recommendations on software that will generate a timeline view for, say, 3 generations of a family from a GEDCOM file. I have a family that were quite mobile, and I would like to display graphically names, and locations against time to try and get a grip with where they went and at what age, and potentially, how long they stayed there.

TIA

David

Roots Magic 4 will print a timeline chart but it doesn't include locations - so that's one eliminated.

Looks like sticking with Excel then. :(
