Hello all,

I have just stumbled on your site, saw what you offered, and joined up straight away.

I would be very grateful if someone can look up the following details please:

1891 Census       GREENOCK WEST   Ref - 564 - 2 - 27 - 007
BRAND JANET       57
BRAND JANET       23
BRAND JOHN A     21

Hi Jean,

Thanks for your input. I noticed on another subject you have advised you are going to Port Glasgow & Watt Memorial Library in a couple of weeks... if you have time I was wondering if you could possibly have a look in the papers for a story about some young boys who stowed away on the "Arran" in 1868. that story appeared in the Greenock Telegraph a few years ago, someone was also looking for information on that story
