Title: Hebburn Wesleyan Methodists
Post by: Dougalgeorge on Wednesday 02 June 10 17:57 BST (UK)
Hi  :)

I`m looking for a Wesleyan baptism in Hebburn in 1888.  My Robertson family lived in Hood Street, Swindon Street and St Andrews St. The father worked at a shipyard.
They were Wesleyan`s in Scotland so I am assuming they had the children born in Hebburn baptised in a Wesleyan chapel there.
Where would the nearest one be? And can I access the records online?

Thanks.
Tracey

Hi Tracy

This link mentions 4 different Wesleyan chapels in Hebburn in 1880.
