Hi
I'm trying to find out about Ada Eleanor Umpleby and David Johnstone they were from Darlington, Co. Durham.
They were born 1875, 1888 and also had siblings which I'm trying to find out about.
There children were Kenneth and Ronald.

Hi Jayton
Is there anything in particular that you're hoping to find out about Ada & David? Ada's easily found on the 1881 census in Darlington, with 5 siblings listed. That would be a start - or have you already found that? Dazey

David is born c 1875 on the census I think.
I will just post the 1901 census that I think is him until you reply to this thread as I need to know how much you have on them.
1901 Census
Berwich Cottage?
Woodland Road,
Darlington, Durham
RG13/4615/136/26
James S JOHNSTONE, 53, Head, Mar, Railway ?keeper, Worker, born Scotland
Jane, 53, Wife, Mar, born Yorkshire, Ruth
DAVID, 26, Son, S, ? Shop Assistant, born Cockerton, Durham
Jane A, 22, Daug, S, At Home, born Darlington
Stewart, 3, Son, born Darlington
I think Davids parents are James Stewart JOHNSTONE and Jane PEACOCK but I am getting ahead of myself ;D
I went back to the 1891 and David is an Apprentice Salesman at a Shoe Shop Assistant and James the Father a Railway Storekeeper

Please could anyone tell me how I get info on Kenneth 1913 and Ronald not sure of his birth, but died 1980.

Hi
It has been sometime since this post was written so im not sure if I will get a response. My great great grandfather was David Johnstone. My great grandfather was Ronald Johnstone and my Grandfather was Denis Johnstone. I would be interested to find out more about Kenneth.
I have some photos of Ronald and there may be some of Kenneth but I am a bit unsure.
