I am looking for a birth for Canoto (Canuto) PALANCIO - also known as PLATT. I have his marriage 03.01.1898 in Thursday Islands to Desidoria Evangelista. The certificate says he was born in Manilla Phillipine Islands. The marriage certificate says his parents are Marcus PALANCIO and Magdalen DUNCO. He was also married under PLATT to another woman called Alice Sophia Massey.
Probably born app. early 1860's
Is there any way that birth records can be looked up in the Phillipines.

You could actually try to look them up on the town where they originated. But you will need concrete information to get those papers.

Hi Sabrina
My husband is the great great grandson to Canuto Palancio. I'm working on his family tree for him and would love to hear from you and see how you got on with this, i have often looked at this line and wonder where to start. This site is new to me so i don't know if there is someway we can do this privately.

Hi Sabrina

Me again.. :D, I have the same certificate as well which i received from Canuto's son Philomeno (Phillip) who was my husband great grandfather who lived to be 96 years old and i had the great pleasure of knowing him. He was a gracious gentle man who could also be quite a character. His mother was Canuto first wife Desideria.
Cheers
