Title: MANSFIELD in Bury St Edmund

HI I am looking for any information on the family of Sarah Ann Mansfield.

Her death cert states that she was born in Bury St Edmunds, b 23 Mar 1833, fathers name taken from her marriage cert - Robert. the 1841 Census has what I presume is the Mansfield family in Greys Thurrock Essex, Robert b abt 1796 Sarah b abt 1801 and Sarah Ann aged 7.

She married William Robert Jewiss in1850 in Gravesend Kent.

I cannot find either her parents marriage or her birth record.

Can anyone help me to locate Sarah Ann's family.

myshell, I have had a lot of correspondence on and off board with someone else researching Mansfields in BSE. you can find some of this by using the search facility. also i will email him and make sure he  has seen your post.
can't see any names i recognise at moment.

Thank you for the information on the marriage of Robert and Sarah, this could well be them.   :D  ???

Is there any possibility that Sarah Ann was born in this area as well.

I have received some correspondence from ozboy on the Mansfield family he is looking into.

Unfortunately at the moment we cannot make a connection.

But thank you, you never know, there may be some chance if I find out more about my Mansfields.
