Mary Jane Graham nee Mcmillan 1894.1977
Her parents were James McMillan 1860 and Isabella McMillan 1865
(And their parents if possible.)
Matthew Graham 1895-1957. Also his parents
They were John Graham b 1843 & Isabella Graham 1845-1903.. dont know her maiden name. Also their parents if possible!
They lived in Foremans Row Seaton Delaval and were Miners

I am researching the McMillan family from Seaton Delaval My Father George's father George b. 1894 his father was Thomas. b 1870 his brother was your James b. 1860 Their parents were Alexander b. 1840 and Mary b. 1843 Looking for any info on any of the family Have certain amount on siblings but anything you or anyone can supply would be great. Sorry for the delay in getting back... only just noticed you added some info.
Please get back to me, I'm looking for any info at all on the line for James McMillan (born abt 1860) married Isabella.
I have him born in Scotland to Alexander and Mary (Mooney) but nothing more concrete than the 1871 Census showing them in Tanfield.
My ancestor was James' brother Thomas.
I have B/Cert for Thomas and John, but having great trouble with obtaining MarrCert for Alexandra and Mary, and also BCert for James, (which of course would give more info to trace)

Are you unsure because I put in the word Seghill,or have you some research that states this is not your family,of Lawsons,
The probate record I doubt is yours,unless of course Matthew came into a bit of money,as it did seem quite a lot of money for a hard working miner,and you state yours died in 1951,

If you are still unsure ,it may be advisable to purchase your Matthews birth certifcate,it will give you vital information to work from,you can then cross reference it with the census returns,

To be 100% sure Isabelle is Matthews mother,you need his birth certificate,
I wouldnt verify any thing ,that may misslead you down the wrong path,
I can only make suggestions,as to who his mother may have been,
