Do you mean Apethorpe, Northamptonshire? I can't find 'Adepthorpe' listed in England.

It was probably a lodge for Apethorpe Hall

There is a Blue Field Farm on the O.S. Map North East of Apethorpe Village.

THATS WHAT I THOUGHT STAN THE LODGE BEING PART OF THATS HALL AS LORD BRASSEY WAS MY GRANDMA DAD'S BOSS AS MY GRANDMAS DAD WAS A GAME KEEPER

If you go to http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/ click "I want to Get-a-Map now" and enter Apethorpe in search, you will see Blue Field Farm.

Blue Field Lodge was on North Street in 1881 which does not appear on the modern map.

Judging by Google Street View the buildings appear to be original so you can get an idea what Blue Field Lodge would have looked like.
