Hi everybody.
I'm wondering if anybody might be be able to help me locate descendants of a PIKE family that was living at Richmond House, Appledore at the time of the 1891 and 1901 census. This family consisted of William Lewison PIKE, his wife Jessie Anne, daughter Crystal, and son Joseph.
My suspicion is that Joseph (born about 1880 at Parkstone, Dorset) might have married in 1924 to Violet CHALLACOMBE.
Thanks,
- David.

Looks like Crystal married Q4.1901 Barnstaple to Harold Thomas Radford

Crystal Radford - died Q2 1967 Tavistock, Devon - age 87

I believe this is the Joseph you are looking for:
Dorothes Vivian NEGUS, April 10th 1920
Joseph PIKE, of Instow, Devon, only son of William Lewenson PIKE,
of Richmond House, Appledore, [Barnstaple], Devon
I have some additional information regarding the ancestors of this PIKE family as well if needed, though nothing on descendants past this Joseph).

I can trace Joseph's PIKE ancestry back to Joseph & Katherine who lived at Chudleigh, Devon, in the mid 1700s, but if you have earlier information then I'd be happy to see it.
As for Joseph at Instow, this is the first that I've seen of his marriage record, so thank-you for bringing it to my attention! Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any birth registrations for children with Pike+Negus parents, although I haven't yet checked on spelling variations.
There is a death registration in 1946 for a Dorothea V Pike, age 67 [hence born about 1879] in the district of Bideford, Devon ... this looks likely to be Joseph's wife.
