if you google 'army regiments Nuneaton'  there is plenty comes up. there is a signals base in bramcote just outside Nuneaton.:

52 Infantry Brigade and Signal Squadron (258) is a newly formed Independant Signal Squadron which is currently co-located with 30 Signal Regiment.

The Squadron is now a Bowman-ready radio unit, the previous role having been Cormorant. The Squadron is currently based at Gamecock Barracks, Nuneaton along side 30 Signal Regiment who provide administrative control.

In the 1970's the Regiment that was based at Gamecock Barracks was the Junior Leaders Regiment, Royal Artillery.
