Title: Thomas Mortimer Footballer 1940's?

Thomas Mortimer b: circa 1929 to Harold Herbert Lawrence Mortimer b: Bristol - 16th March 1900 and Edith Annie Turl b: Thornbury - March 1896 . I am told that he was a professional footballer, but other than his birth I can find nothing more - anyone ?

Try Google for  Bristol City or Bristol Rovers FC's.  They might have some historical info.
