Evening everyone
I would appreciate it if someone could find the marriage of John Moloney/Maloney
to Johanna Crowe possibly in Vic, definitely not NSW could even be Tasmania.
Their son Cornelius Parker Moloney was born c1855 in Geelong district(Gueriare)and died
1938 in Wangaratta Vic.
Cornelius' parents names were obtained from his marriage certificate. I have a transcript of the
marriage.
Thanks
Joy

Births of Children of John & Johanna

Patrick 1850 Bacchus Marsh
Mary c 1853 MOR died 1860 aged 7 years
John 1863 POLL

There would appear to be a gap in registrations in the 1850's when the parents were a bit lax registering the births

Hello,
I am a decendant of Cornelius Moloney through marriage. How did you go with you research? I notice your posts from May. Have you made much progress? Our daughter is named Johanna after Johanna Crowe.
Let me know if you need more info.

Hi Sandra
John Moloney & Johanna Crowe are my husband's 2xG/Grandparents. We live in Narrandera at the moment and my husband's father was Cornelius James Moloney son of Richard Moloney and violet Kennedy. Richard was the son of cornelius Parker Moloney and Selina Hill. Then to John and Johanna.
We know very little of the Moloney's per se but are aware that there are/were some relatives
around Numurkah vic. We have no photographs of the older generations as my husband's parents were divorced and his mother got rid of any Moloney photos. :'( :'(
Where do you live? Thank you so much for taking the trouble to reply.
If you make another couple of posts we can then use the private message system.
Lovely to hear from you

PROV shows these on their Wills index. I didn't read them though so perhaps not all are your family :-\
Matthew Moloney died 15 Sep 1917, railway employee, residence Woodend
Johanna Moloney, died 15 May 1920, widow of Glenferrie
Edward Moloney, died 27 Jun 1892, Publican of South Melbourne
Edmond Moloney, died 5 Mar 1924, Farmer of Wilby - the death found by Logan is a different date, though.

Hello there,
I am hoping someone may be able to help me please .. I am researching the Crowe family and their links to the Donovan family. I have Johanna Crowe and John Moloney in my family tree. I have found a detailed tree on Pandora that seemed to be posted by a Mary Therese Simpson (nee Moloney) back in 2001. The email address provided is no longer in use. Can anyone help point me in the right direction of this lady please? She seemed to have Donovan information and am hoping she may be able to assist. FYI my link is John Crowe (m) Margaret Hogan. One of their children, Mary Ann was married to John Donovan (1873 St Francis Melbourne) - they both ended up in Deniliquin, NSW.
Thanks in advance.
