Title: Fannistown, Wexford - is there such a place COMPLETE
Post by: JaniceK on Tuesday 11 May 10 20:40 BST (UK)
I am from Canada so am operating in blindness here.  My mother-in-law claims that many of her ancestors came from Fannistown, Wexford, but I am unable to locate such a place anywhere in Wexford or indeed in Ireland at all.  The closest I was able to come was a Fanningstown, Limerick, which is so far away that it couldn't possibly be right.  Does anyone know what place my mother-in-law may have been thinking of?  Other of her family come from Enniscorthy, Taghmon, Duncormick, etc.  Thanks in advance.

Thank you.  I found it.  Now I at least know how to spell it properly.  You're very helpful.
