Title: Thomas Geden

I have a Thomas Geden birth about 1703 in Tysoe who married a Sarah, it is believed, in 1727. I would be grateful if anybody is able to confirm this marriage and as to whether it took place in Tysoe and also Sarah's surname for me.

Thomas GEADON, f. William, was born abt. 1704 in Tysoe and d. 1752 in Wiggington, Oxon. He married Sarah ? abt. 1726.  She d. 1788.
Thomas bap. 26th March 1704 @ St Mary, Tysoe & buried 2nd April 1752 @ St Giles, Wigginton.  Sarah buried 10th February 1788 @ St Mary, Bloxham, Oxon.
Children: William bap. 21st September 1727, Sarah bap. 20th December 1730, Maria bap. 14th October 1733, Thomas bap. 6th June 1736, John bap. 3rd June 1739, Hannah bap. 29th November 1741, Richard bap. 11th March 1742/43, James bap. 24th April 1748 & Elizabeth bap. 25th December 1750.
This is my 1st Generation.  I have 9 in total.  Time to shift to pm!

Since I posted this question I have done some research and found Thomas as being baptised  24th March 1703 in Tysoe.  Also I have two more children of his than you.  A Joseph baptised 29th May 1729 and a Solomon 24th April 1748.  I suppose you know that Williams wife Sarah married again before she died in 1788.  I still haven't found Sarahs' maiden name but looking at my tree I have put 1726 Warwickshire and a question mark by it.  I cannot remember why I thought it could be Warwickshire.

Thanks for your response. I have now updated the children.  I had Thomas' baptism date 24th March 1703.  I also have Sarah being buried at St Mary, Bloxham, Oxon 10th February 1788.  I do have her 2nd marriage to Joseph MORRELL at St Mary Bloxham, Oxon but I don't have the date of marriage?
Joseph was buried at St Mary, Bloxham, Oxon 14th March 1774.
My line goes down through James GAYDON b.1746 who m. Sarah WHEELER b.1745. Married at St Mary, Bloxham 8th August 1769.  They had 13 kids.
I don't wish to publish any more data on this open site as it is shared with a number of individuals, including the Australian connection.

I can confirm that Sarah Geden married Joseph Morrell on 18th September 1755 at Bloxham - taken from a CD containing Bloxham BMDs. Hope this is helpful.

My wife is descended from Valentine Geden (b 1715), the brother of Thomas (b 1703)

Thanks for your message.  What I haven't got is Sarah's maiden name when she married Thomas Geadon abt.1726.
Thomas buried 2nd April 1762, St Giles, Wiggington, Oxon and Sarah buried 10th February 1788 at St Mary, Bloxham, Oxon.
I also have all the baptism dates for Thomas/Sarahs' 10 children.
I also have a copy of Howard Fall's family history of the Gaydon aka Gaden circa 1625-1876 plus my own family history compiled with the help of John Hutson & Howard Fall 1704-2002 and the Australian Gaden Lines.

Thanks for your comments. Regret I too have no maiden name for Sarah, Thomas' wife.
Howard Fall has also sent me a copy of his Gaydon family history and I have been in touch with John Hutson through Genes Reunited.
