Would some kind soul see if they can find the address for GGdad Edward Aubrey Hancock born 13 May 1862, in Northfleet, he was a Thames Waterman circa 1876, confirmed by the Guild bindings. His wife's name was Eliza, their son Edward William Richard Hancock was born in Northfleet in 1883. I have tried searching on Family Search Records, but drawing a blank.
Thanks

In 1891, this looks like Edward junior
Edward Hancock age 7 with grandparents Charles and Elizabeth Milner. Charles is a bricklayer.

ADDED: also with them is Frederick Hancock 20 single Stepson Hairdresser born Northfleet.
This must be Edward senior's brother.

Elizabeth is Edward A's mum, his dad died and she married Charles Milner in 1882

My apologies to all, for some reason, I have not received any notification of replies, I will have to investigate.
CarolW: Its a bit late now but I should have said 1871/81
CatOne: Thank you you have cracked it. My mother aged 91 remembers the house but not the address. The spooky thing is she was taken to Northfleet at the weekend to see her newest great grandaughter, Mum now lives in Eastend of London and my niece's partner's family started in the same area. So we have come full circle, Northfleet, London, Northfleet.
The old boy married three times, he just wore them out one at a time I think.
JJen: Thanks to you too, Thats him
Groom: Thanks Thats interesting, I'll have to see why he was with G/parents.
Once again Rootchatters have come up trumps, what a great bunch of folks.
Thanks to you all

.Thanks Thats interesting, I'll have to see why he was with G/parents.
Don't forget the census only shows where a person was on census night, so he may not actually be living with his grandparents, he may just have been having a "sleep over" ;D ;D

Have you checked out the Medway CityArk website ? They have most of the Parish Records from the Medway area up to Dartford on line, including Northfleet.
You can check out Births Marriages and Burials all for FREE.
