Hi,
I'm looking for anyone who may be connected to Reginald William Clark and Mary (nee) Patterson.
Children were (I think) Reginald William (March quarter 1921) and Rose Mary 'Rosie' (June quarter 1930)
The family were based in Wallsend (Prince Road) at some point. Mary was famed for her blackcurrant jam !
Reg was a boiler maker/plater and came from a large Irish family based in Willington / Wallsend from 1860's (father James {possibly Co Cavan}, mother Margaret (O) Connor {definitely Co Down}).
My great grandfather was Charles Joseph Clark brother to 'Uncle Willie' as he was known.
Thanks
Irish Geordie

Ingrid,
Great to hear from you! I don't know how much you may know of the Clark family (there's lots and it's huge) but between my cousin Robert and myself we have got back to the late 1700s in Ireland.
Uncle Willie has proven to be a bit of a mystery until now, so any information you have is most welcome. Uncle Willie's brother (my GF) still has three daughters (my aunts) still alive the eldest Nora is 95 and going strong.
Lovely to hear from you, if you want to contact me again please don't hesitate PM me if you like. I still live in the North East so I can help with most queries.

Have just spoken to my mom, who remembers a lot, I do not know my way around this website to do a PM to bring you up to speed. Will wait until my daughter or son can show me how to do it.

hi,
remember it is rootschat policy not to mention living people.
the pm method would be best for talking about living relatives as you will have lots to discuss.
however, don't forget this is a sharing site so open posts can help others :)

Danish may have to make one more reply to use the PM system at this writing it indicates 2. I think it is three to use the PM system.
