Hi all
Stuck finding my 3rd GGrandmother born 1812 in Whiteparish Wilts and died in Astley Worcestershire in 1875. I have her married to William Henry Overton in 1834 in Lower Mitton Worcs but before that no idea.
Cany clues? Amors seem popular in Wiltshire

The WFHS Baptisms Index 1560-1851 (both at the record office and on FindMyPast) have no Sussanna AMOR or obvious variation in Whiteparish. The only AMOR baps are as follows:-
-AMOR William Card 1828
-AMOR Henry Card 1830
-AMOR Fanny Sophia 1832
-AMOR Una Maria 1835
All above are children of John & Hannah shoemaker/cordwainer.
-AYMORE James 1806
-AYMORE Thomas 1804
Both above are children of Thomas & Elizabeth
There are a couple of infant burials nearer your date of 1812 included:-
-AMOR Thomas 1813 infant
-AMOR Alfred 1813 infant
-AMOR Amos 1815
-AMOR Elisabeth 1823 aged 52 yrs of Downton (No AMOR baps Downton 1798-1830)
-AMOR Thomas 1834 3 weeks
-AMOR Una Maria 1836 16 months
No marriages.
Out of interest, what is the link you have connecting her to Whiteparish?

She was a bit vague about her birth date. There is a Susanna Amor born 23 March 1800 in Milton Lilbourne Wiltshire? I wonde if she might have been telling a few little stories about her age?
