I'm hoping someone will be able to help me.
I'm trying to find out more information about a Thomas Lloyd who was born about 1814 in Llandinam according to the 1851 census. He and his wife were living at Draintewon, llandinam.
He married Elizabeth Owens in 1835 and had several children with her one of them my g.g.grandmothe Ann Lloyd b.6-3-1840.
I've been unable to find his parents, as his marriage was before the start of certificates I haven't been able to get his fathers name.
thank you for any help.

The IGI covers this period, and there is one illegitimate Thomas Llloyd bapt. c. 1814:

Thank you! That looks hopefull.

If they were illegitimate there may be a bastardy bond for this child held at Powys Archives.

I've found the 1841 census with Thomas Lloyd and it has an Ann Williams living with him so it looks more likely it is his mother.
Can I get Powys records on line?
Thanks
