Title: PHILLIPS of Wadebridge
Post by: Evenden1 on Friday 30 April 10 12:16 BST (UK)
Hi all!

I am working on my family genalogy of my Phillips branch.

I have good documentation back to my great-great grandfather Nicholas Phillips (1821-1886) St. Minver.  He married Catherine Noall if Gwennap in St. Minver 1848.

I am now stumped on how best to find Nicholas' parents.

Any suggestions -- I am not in Kernow, unfortunately!

TIA

Hi,

Family search has a baptism record for Nicholas Phillips for 04 MAR 1821  Saint Minver, Cornwall, England. Father Thomas, mother Jane.

There is a marriage between Thomas Phillips and Jane Richards 01 MAR 1819   Phillack, Cornwall, England.

Sharon

WOW!  Some great and fast information!

My biggest issue has been the multitude of Phillips that seem to have been around St. Minver at this time.... most of whom seem to not be my line.

I will try and find that baptism record.
