I can search the recent electoral rolls for specific names and location.
There are few Blondrage, Helman etc but all names appear, with only Barnes
in Strood.
Sittingbourne seems to have the most of the surnames in the one location.
PM me and I will see what I can find, one name at a time please!. :)
Mike.

Tanya,
Wow! Thanks very much; the thread has been dead for over 12 months so I got quite a pleasant surprise to receive your post today!
I am endeavouring to write up the HELMAN history and have been swamped with info from FreeBMD and findmypast. especially on Henry HELMAN and Effield ATTWATER descendants. There is so much I would like to know. Have been in touch with rellies of Doris STEVENS and with John HALL who was a BLONDRAGE.
I'll be in touch

Hi,
My grandmother was a Blondrage twin. Her name was Ada and her twin Winifred born 1914 in Hoo, Kent. Does anyone have any information on this side of the family. I'm finding then hard to trace as the also used the abbreviated name Drage.
Thanks
Vicky

Hi.

Jean.
Hi Jean,
I have little info on the HICKMOTT family. Just a little that relates to their connection to my HELMAN family.
Namely Mabel Alice HELMAN married Stanley F. HICKMOTT in 1913 in Hoo, KENT;AND Dorothy Edith HICKMOTT married Cyril Bertie HELMAN in 1941, in Chatham, KENT.
I don't even know if Stanley and Dorothy are of the same HICKMOTT Family!
Sorry I can't be of much help outside of this.
Regards from Australia

Hi Palmira.
I was just wondering if your Hickmotts were connected to mine.
Where in Australia are you? I am in Perth but born in the Medway Towns which seems to be your area of research,so maybe can help with the area.

I'm a Blondrage and been tracing the family for years and looking at the above posts I am now a little confused esp. with regards to twins. I have an Ada and a Winifred born 1914 within days of each other but on the baptism records they each show different parents. More help needed please

I also have on Facebook a group 'The Blondrage Family' where we can chath and swap information. Its a closed group so only members I wish to join can so.

Hi Robert, I am Ada's granddaughter. I don't know a lot about the family, I assumed Winifred was her twin as the births were registered in the same quarter. I wasn't able to find the baptism records. Could it be possible they were put up for adoption? Baptised by different parents?
