Title: Where was Crossgate Road in Arbroath? *COMPLETED*
Post by: Russell Watson on Sunday 25 April 10 01:58 BST (UK)
Ancestors James Russel (1797-1871) and his wife Isabel Watson (1797-1886) raised their family in Arbroath and attended St. Vigean's. As of 1833 they are living at Crossgate Road. I've been looking at many old maps of the city of Arbroath, and I can't locate this place.
Can anyone familiar with Old Arbroath help me out with this?
Their children were:
John Russell (1820-1898)
James Russell (1826-1912)
Alexander S. Russell (1833-1899)
Isibel W. Russell (1839-?)
Jessie E. Russell (1859-1860)
Thank You!! -  Jay (Russell Watson)
