Thomas Dilloway b. 20 Oct 1856 M.1 Ann Nash on 25 Sept 1879. M.2 Elisabeth Funnel nee Nash (sister of Ann Nash) Thomas and Ann had the following children:
Ethel Jane b. 1880, Thomas Alfred b. 1882, Annie Mabel b. 1884, William Christopher b. 1885, Mary Daisy b. 1887, Reginald John b.1899, Elsie Carrie b. 1891.
Thomas and Elizabeth had the following child: Ivy Kathleen b. 1904.
Elizabeth was previously married to ? Funnell and had the following children:
Dorothy G b.1888, Bertha Lillian b. 1889, Margarie b. 1890.
In the 1890’s Thomas Dilloway was living with his family at the Guildford Park Post office, Denzil Road Guildford, Surrey. Thomas son Thomas Alfred died as an infant. Son Reginald John died in India 1889 and had one son Reginald Clifford. William Christopher died in France during world war 1 (1918).
There are three questions that I have had a lot of trouble answering as it is difficult for me to gain access to archives from New Zealand.
Did William Christopher Dilloway marry and have children?
Did Elizabeth Ann have any sons in her marriage to ? Funnell?
Did Ivy Kathleen Dilloway marry and have any children?
I would truly appreciate any help or advice as to how I may find answers to those questions.

Looks like William Christopher could be going by Christopher W
He appears to have married Lily Georgina Bailey Jun qu 1910 Kensington 1a 261
There appears to be 1 child born to Dilloway/Bailey Mar qu 1912 Doris C L Dilloway Guildford 2a 192
You would really need certificate to verify it all.
Will PM you later info

I cannt see anything for William on the CWGC site
However there is a death for Reginald John in 1920
http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=1465533
so I question the date you give for his death of 1889 (esp as I see he was born 1899!)
I see he left a widow Evelyn

Aha - if William was using the name Christopher then this could be him

Hi
There are only two instances of Ivy K Dilloway BMDs on FreeBMD. The birth in 1904 and a marriage in 1928
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl
FreeBMDs coverage of the civil registration index is given here
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/progress.shtml
There appears to be no children registered to this couple in England and Wales, though if there were because they may still be living such information can only be given through the private Rootschat personal messaging system.

Though society as a whole by 1895 was much more sympathetic to such marriages it was illegal to marry your dead wife's sister until the Deceased Wife's Sister's Marriage Act of 1907. The Church of England did not (knowingly) allow such marriages until the early 1940s.
