I might be able to help; I've lived in the village for the best part of my life (born here!), my father was good friends with Jack, and I know David and Ann

I am a first cousin twice removed of Jack Cornwell VC, and have a fairly extensive tree of the Ayres/Cornwell+ the rest of Bottisham and Lode family. If I can help your research, then I will.

Hi

I am researching my Cornwell family in the US.  My ancestor John Cornwell was born about 1735 and did about 1776 in Virginia.  Y-DNA has confirmed he either has a brother or cousin, Edward Cornwell, who lived in North Carolina.  Several researchers have linked them to the Cornwell's of Fulbourn.  I am looking for a male Cornwell with proven ancestry with the Fulbourn Cornwells who is willing to participate in our Cornwell Y-DNA Study.  Y-DNA will prove if my ancestor shared a common patriarch with the Fulbourn Cornwells.

Thank you for any assistance you may offer.
