Title: Where is Chapmanleys? Complete
Post by: *sparkle* on Friday 16 April 10 13:39 BST (UK)
I'm trying to pinpoint Chapmanleys. I suspect it could be a row of cottages lying somewhere between Lochfoot and Troqueer. Maybe in Cargenbridge?

Hoping someone can pinpoint it for me.

Thanks
Tx

It was a row of cottages - which still seem to be there, between Westhill and the now dismantled railway - on the old military road near Drumsleet, north side of the road.  Put Drumsleet into Google Streetview and it will take you straight there.
