Rathdown is the name of the registration district which includes Bray, Little Bray, parts of north county Wicklow (south to about Greystones)  and a large section of south east County Dublin. There's also a townland named Rathdown in south county Dublin - near Loughlinstown, which is where the workhouse was which gave it's name to the Poor Law Union/Registration District.
