I wonder if anyone could possibly have a look for a marriage between a John Jones and Susannah (surname not known) at Halesowen between 1823 and 1826 please?
Thanks a lot.

There are over 5000+ matches can you narrow it down with dates of birth, deaths and locations if at all possible

Hi
I was hoping for a look up in the parish register of St John the Baptist for this marriage. I'm quite new to this so I probably need to be more clear about wht I'm after.
John was born in 1791 or so in Edgbaston and Susannah was born in Cradley around 1799. They lived around Hayseech I think.

Thanks for the two entries which tie up rather nicely. This could be the marriage I am after though I would have expected them to have married in Halesowen.
To be sure, I would need to see if someone can check the Halesowen parish register for 1823 to 1826 so that I can eliminate that parish completely.
The other possibility is that they married in Rowley Regis which I believe is Staffordshire and so I need to put that on a different part pf the site.
Anyway, again many thanks for your help.

That's the only Marriage for Susannah Priest and John Jones which shows up on the IGI for the whole of Worcs and Staffordshire, so it probably is the one you are looking for, bearing in mind that not all couples legally married. If you write to Dudley Archives they will send you a print out of the Marriage, costs about £3.00. There won't be any parents but the Witnesses may help and it may say which Parish they lived in.
