Jane Laws Rontree b. 14 Nov 1905 married Joseph Miller at Houghton-le-Spring in 1925.

Grateful for any details on the groom (DoB) please.

Hi,

The only way to be sure to get the correct Joseph's DOB is to order a copy of the Marriage from the GRO.  The details you need follow

You won't get an exact date of birth - just age at marriage.  Knowing his father's name will help though as you might be able to find them in 1911.  The index holds a lot of information.

Another option is to look for a death registration and see what age that gives but Miller is a common name so that may not be so easy.
