Could someone please look for the 1891 and 1901 census for a Jean or Jane Junner born 1846. She will be a widow. Her children will be Ann Isabella B 1868, William born 1871, Alexander Born 1876 and John Born 1874. They were in Bellie in 1881.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

According to 1881 census Jean/Jane was born in Urquhart, Morayshire along with Ann and William. John was born in Loch Carron, Ross and Cromarty and Alexander in Dingwall, Ross and Cromarty.
Thanks

Is this the family that are indexed as JUNNER and living at Castle Row Bellie in 1881? Presume Williamson is an error on your post and we should be looking under Junner?

Sorry, I seem to have a mental block about this family. I made the same mistake when I was looking for them in 1881.
Sorry to have wasted peoples time.

There is a gravestone for her at Urquhart churchyard. Named as Jean Joiner nee Williamson.

Thanks for the information and your time.
I bought a MI book for Urquhart on my last visit to Elgin and managed to find the stone and take a photo.
Thanks again.

I see that you have got the 1891 and 1901 censuses from helpful people on the Rootsweb Moray mailing list, so presumably you no longer need this lookup.

Hi Forfarian
After receiving your message I checked out Ancestry message board for Moray as I had not received any notification of a reply.
Someone has kindly given me the 1901 census so it is only the 1891 that I am now after.
I will now go back to my message and reply to someone else who is researching the same family.
Thanks for getting in touch.

I saw two posts on the Rootsweb Message Board with the 1891 census information.
-
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Roots Web. It is a long time since I have been on that particular part of Ancestry site.
I have now found the two replies for the 1891 census and have replied to their email address.
Thanks again for telling me of the replies as I know myself it is nice to get a reply when you have answered someones query.
I will away and have a look at the additional information on Donaldson/Williamson
All the best
Betty
