I'm trying to find anyone who's related to or knows of the Battram family who lived in Mountain Ash/Penrhiwceiber. William Battram was stationmaster at Nelson and Penrhiwceiber train stations. His son Ralph was a GP and worked as a doctor for the Coal Board. Sadly he died in Reading, Berkshire in 2005. Ralph had a sister Eva who knew my grandmother and he was a regular visitor to a farm in Leckwith. It's possible their family may be related to my family . I have done quite a bit of research already but have not yet found the family connection.

Hello :)
If anyone can help with this request, please reply via PM rather than on thread.
RootsChat is meant for finding ancestors, rather than living relatives, but these links provide some useful tips:

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I'm still interested in the Battram family & now think I know where our families became connected. Don't know if I'm allowed to do this (haven't been on here for a long time) but I was in contact with Margaret (your Mum?) some time ago. If she still has my email address it hasn't changed & you're welcome to contact me on it. if not please contact me on here again.
