not quite sure what you are asking, but to trace family you can search civil record indexes on www.familysearch.org on the pilot search page or for pre 1864 records church records on pay-per-view site http://www.irish-roots.ie/ free to search & €5 per record to view.
Some Cavan indexed records here also http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/csi/index.html

Thank you for your reply.I was hoping to find descendants of these families.
-
Are you hoping to find descendants in Australia? If so, I can move this thread to that board for you.
-
thank you for your advice.but I am looking for any descendants in Ireland
-
Sorry if I'm being a bit slow understanding you but if all of the people mentioned in your original post went to Australia how can there be descendants in Ireland?
-
Are you looking for descendants of any siblings of the people who went to Australia?
If so then the links I gave you in my first reply are the way to go about looking for them.
-

Hi,
Bernard Dunne was my great grand father. I'm the granddaughter of his son Harold. I'm also trying to find any record of Bernard returning to Ireland. Also have not been able to find birth records for Patrick and Bernard or death records for Mary who was alive when Bernard came to Australia in 1881

Civil registration of births in Ireland started 1864- there will be no birth records before this date so you need to see if church records survive. Many R.C. parish registers here (free)-
https://registers.nli.ie/
This would be the place to look for Mary's death (another free site)-
