Could anyone tell me if the Irish tenants of Lord Lansdowne's estate in Kerry, who were fleeing the potato famine, joined the ''Guy Mannering'' at Cobh (later to be called Queenstown) or did they board the ''Guy Mannering'' at Liverpool, having been shipped over to Liverpool from Ireland?

Hello Bill,
If you use www.castlegarden.org and just put the name of the vessel Guy Mannering it will give you a list of 643 people who travelled on it, so perhaps you can match the names of Lord Lansdowne's tenants - most of the randomly picked entries I choose said Port of Departure Liverpool.
This site lists
Famine Irish Passenger Record, 1/12/1846 - 12/31/1851 and seems to show that the Guy Mannering did leave from Liverpool.
