 i was hoping for help in the best place to look for the birth place of sarah mcneil i have her birth date 7 october 1842 newcastle

her parents are john mcneil and elizabeth mcpherson

she married james beecroft  in october 1863

any help andinformation gratefully and thankfully received

If you know which parish in Newcastle she was born you could trawl the Bishops Transcripts http://www.rootschat.com/links/076m/
They are not indexed but can prove helpful.
