Title: Union Street, 1930
Post by: VikkiC on Sunday 21 March 10 14:10 GMT (UK)
I am hoping someone could possibly point me in the direction of a picture of Union Street, Aberdeen in about 1930. In particular 17 Union Street, which I belive was the Bon Accord Hotel. I am looking for this as my Granma worked there from 1926 and she actually got married there in 1930 to David Campbell. No one in the family can tell me what date or even what month they were married, but I would like to get a picture if possible to show my Dad as he was the youngest of her 9 children.
Many thanks

Hello VikkiC

I have a book of photographs of Aberdeen that contains a view the Bon Accord Hotel from 1939. However, the hotel was in Market Street, not Unio Street.

If you want a copy of the photograph, send me a pm with an e-mail address and I can sent one to you

Hi Vikki,

The only marriage showing in Aberdeen city 1928 - 1932 is David Gunn Campbell to Isabella Armstrong Sutherland in 1932
