I am helping someone trace their family and am wondering if anyone can find the name FARRANT in any of the censuses.
There was a Thomas and Jane FARRANT who had Anne b 1852 and Nathaniel b 1863 in Haverfordwest., but I cannot find them in 1881 or 1901.
It is not a Welsh name - seems to have come from Devon, so there won't be many names!
Sorry I can't provide any further info but fingers are crossed the surname comes up somewhere in PEM.
Thanks kindly

HI
I've spent some time researching my mother's side, who haven't dropped far from the tree since 1791 - so very easy. However my grandfather's side is much more difficult.
Henry Griffiths, born Derby 1914 - mother's maiden name Farrant - is all I have.
I know that Harry (as he became known) had relatives in Pembrokeshire - is this the missing link?
Henry (Harry) had George, Elsie, Fred, Hilda & Gladys as brothers & sisters.
If anyone can assist developing this line, I'd appreciate it.

I am sure I knew someone in school (Pembroke) with the surname Farrant.
