BREWIS/POTTS/PURVIS/SALARI: Interested in contacting Noreen Salari (daughter of William Purvis and Elizabeth Brewis) or Noreen’s children

Noreen Salari is the cousin of Muriel Doris JONES, born Hamilton, October 2, 19xx and Noreen Purvis (as she was then) signed as a witness to the marriage of Muriel Jones to Ernest Henry Nickel at McMaster University, Hamilton.

Noreen Salari's parents, William Purvis and Elizabeth Brewis were married at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England on September 3, 1918 and emigrated to Canada in June 1920 on the Empress of France, settling in Hamilton, Ontario. They went to join William Purvis' sister, Susannah Jones who arrived in Canada in November 1919. Accompanying William and Elizabeth Purvis on the Empress of France were William Purvis' parents, William Birkbeck Purvis and Jane Purvis (nee Potts). I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

I've found the lady you seek, but no contact information in Hamilton Ontario white pages...
However her  organization raised money to restore a Bolingbroke Bomber, (and also paid for a
brand new one in ww2) You can see her on the video as well! I imagine as past president, she
could be contacted right there, through the IODE site....

Many thanks for help and suggestions. I will follow them up. The Hamilton Salari's may be related, but I think that the Burlington people are the ones.

Thanks for letting me know - I was in the area some years ago and know that Hamilton and Burlington are adjacent to each other - unfortunately, at the time I didn't know about the Salari connection, otherwise I would have chased it up then. Once again, many thanks, Karen.
