i have found out about my grandmother a muriel constance shorrock i have found where she is buried we are trying to find out about her parents now i have had her birth cert she was born in 1909 in a military hospital in east stonehouse devon, and died in 1937 giving birth to a second child,we have found her fathers name was bernard shorrock he was born in blackburn we think in 1883-4 then moved to east stonehouse where he was in the R.M.L.I he married a lily nancarrow then later moved to ancoates where he became a sargent in the police force we are trying to find where they were married and buried and if there were any other children any help would be great

I found a Bernard Shorrock, Age 19 B. 1882 Blackburn, on the 1901 census, living at the Royal Marine Barracks in East Stonehouse Devon. He was a Private Am H. and he was single.
on the 1891 Lancashire census I found

they are all living Victoria Park St Chrysatom, S. Manchester

They are living at # 6 St James Rd. Blackburn, John is listed as an Architect and Surveyor.
