Hi,
I'm lookin for a Hubert bloomer who emigrated to Australia in 1946. i think he served on HMS penguin and made his way to Australia that way. just wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction to research this.

his application is held by National Archives of Australia. Go to http://naa12.naa.gov.au and search as guest.
You can either pay to have the record sent to you or have a digital record put on the site.
