Hi,
I'm looking for a Hubert bloomer (b.1926 Dudley,Staffs). He apparently emigrated to Australia but i don't know when. Can anybody give me help or advice on where to start searching. I'm quite new to genealogy

Looks like he was  in the Navy.
There is a non-digitised Naval Service Record at:

www.naa.gov.au
select recordsearch, right hand side website main page,
select search as guest,
enter term into search box.
The information would have to be obtained through the website as it is not digitised.

On Ancestry.com.au Apart from his birth and possible marriage in UK I cannot see anything that likes look him in Australia.

http://www.findmypast.co.uk/ has Passenger lists from 1890 - There are a number of H Bloomer records but none seem to be for birth 1926

Perhaps he came out with the Navy
