I have just bought a new PC with Windows 7 installed, and have just realised that Outlook Express is not included, so cannot access a newsgroup. Does anybody now off a simple and cheap reader for downloading one newsgroup.
Thanks

If I'm on the right track, it's probably something like Google Reader that you are after. But I'm not sure if that's what you mean?

Hi, windows vista which is the "nearly windows 7" came with Windows Mail which has lots of newsgroups. How do you do your mail in your windows7?

Hi Marky P,
Thanks for the reply - I,ll give that a try
Hi Flacybe,
For email I now have to use the Virgin Media web based mail facility. They have a news server with most of the newsgroups, but no means to view the newsgroup. The benefit of using Outlook Express for email was that they also offered a newsgroup reader. It seems that with Windows 7 the newsgroup facility has been removed from Live Mail.

Hello
I have windows 7 and Windows Live Mail.
There is a button for Newsgroups - to add Newsgroups Accounts.

P.S Window Mail is being phased out and replaced by Windows Live Mail

You can access Newsgroups with Mozilla Thunderbird as well.
