Title: Frederick George LAST
Post by: Pam1949 on Saturday 27 February 10 20:53 GMT (UK)
Help wanted
Hello my name is Pam.
Have been researching into my husbands family tree as i am sure you all can attest too there are brick walls.
So i decided to give it a rest and today thought it would be a good day to begin again
Have been looking for a  marriage for a George Vast who married an Amelia????
Today i have found a Frederick George Last who married Amelia Esling(not sure if this is full name)
Ipswich June 1860
Would anyone be able to help me with anymore details of them.
In june 1863 a daughter was born to them in Aston Birmingham
I was wondering if maybe they were still living in Ipswich for the 1861 census.
Any help would be truely appreciated
many thanks
Pam

I have just checked the full GRO entry for the 1860 marriage and it is shown as Last but that doesn't mean that the GRO entry is also mis-transcribed

I've just checked the 1861 and there is no entry for a Frederick Last with wife Amelia

The only time the name Amelia Esling appears is on the 1860 marriage - no 1841/51 entry

The Lasts are a huge family in Suffolk, and it is easy to get confused between the diffferent cousins  :)
