Title: William Latimer ?1775-?1860
Post by: brian39 on Thursday 25 February 10 20:05 GMT (UK)
I have a real road block with this person:

William Latimer shows up on his son's (William Baker Latimer) marriage certificate (February 2, 1833) as a tailor, and also on his daughter's (Honor Latimer) marriage certificate (August 3, 1864) as the same occupation. Based on the age of the four children I am guessing that William Latimer was born about 1775.  His wife's christian name was Ann; based on the son's name (William Baker Latimer) I am guessing her maiden name is "Baker".
The family lived in London, based on places of birth of children, Cripplegate and Pancras, Middlesex, London, from 1803-about 1865.

William and Ann's Children are William Baker Latimer (1803-1879), Honor Latimer (1805-?1879), Mary Ann Latimer (1805-?1885) and James Christopher Latimer (1807-1873). I have good information on children.

I can not find William and Ann's marriage. William's death. William's birth place and date, and Ann's birth place and date.  Have not been able to find a tailor in London of the name of Latimer or a work location.

There is a possibility that William and Ann's birth places could be in northern England or Ireland.

Anysuggestions or help would be great.
