Title: Attorney's
Post by: bossall on Thursday 25 February 10 09:41 GMT (UK): Can anyone help me please, One of my ancestors (John Rose) lived in Cloudesely Square, Islington, he was a Attorney from at least 1825 through to the 1850's (as noted by the census for that area) and I don't know how to find out about him. Please advise. Michael

- there is a 1836 record for John Rose, Essex Street, Strand, Attorney (fire insurance)

- if you search for Rose John here, there are two entries for attorneys in 1841 (or the same man listed twice?)
Rose, John, 28 Essex Street, Strand
Rose, John, Filacer's office, King's Bench Walk, Temple.
