Hi

Not sure if the Warrington link is to yours, but the history gives the idea that with such a small community, the whole group, not only the pastor were involved in connections, eg to the Academy.

These are the entries as they're spelt in the transcript.

John Sonn of James Entwisle of Allcrington baptized November ye 3rd 1699.

Thomas Aanttassell the Son of James Aanttassell of accrenton Bebtised the 2nd day of November 1701.

Richard ye son of James Entwistle of Ackrington was baptized ffebruarie the 4th 1703/4.

William ye son of James Entwisle was baptized Aprill ye 7th 1705.

Ann the daughtr of James Entwisle  of Ackrinton was baptized January ye 16th Ano. Dom. 170.

[Entries above and below the last are 1708 and1708/9]

Richard ye son of James Entwisle of Ackrinton was baptised April ye 20th: 1712.

I copied the 1904 transcription and it looks as if it was hard to read.  Guessing the date is affected by the calendar change?

See what you think.

Best wishes

PS These occur just after the congregation opened a new chapel at Dob Lane, having formerly worshipped at Newton.
